MFT November Release Rewind

releaserewind1_2014nov13

Hi, everyone! It’s time for this month’s Release Rewind! I love this feature since it gives the designers a great opportunity to use some products we might not have gotten around to using during the release or to delve deeper into some others. I’m really excited about this chance to be creative with the amazing new MFT products that are available right HERE, right NOW in the MFT Boutique. To get all the details, be sure to stop by the MFT Blog.

I have two cards for you today—each very different from the other. My first card uses LLD Be Original stamp set and LLD All-Star High Top Die-namics—told you I was going to do a pink one ;-) I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then, on another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, I splattered some Bubblegum due ink refill with MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist and popped it up on foam. Next, I adhered a piece of Black Licorice card stock cut with Stitched Rounded Rectangles STAX Die-namics and stamped with Swiss Dots Background and Sweet Tooth pigment ink. Next I added a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Bubblegum dye ink and Sweater Stitch background. Next is a strip of silver glitter paper and finally a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Black Licorice Dye ink and Woodgrain Background.

The shoe was cut from Bubblegum card stock and Black Licorice card stock and the heart stamped with Wild Cherry dye ink, then popped up on foam.

Another sentiment from LLD Be Original was stamped on the inside, also with Wild Cherry dye ink.

For my second card I’m using the fabulous MSTN Stitched With Love stamp set and MSTN Stitched With Love Die-namics.

This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, onto which I stenciled embossing paste through Small Chevron Stripes stencil. Next I popped up a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Plaid Builder Background and Wild Cherry dye ink, Sour Apple dye ink, Grout Gray dye ink, and Berrylicious dye ink. Next is a Sweet Tooth card stock panel on which I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice dye ink and Wild Cherry dye ink, along with the stitched element. The spool was cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and lightly shaded with Copic markers, then stamped with Wild Cherry dye ink and popped up on foam. The needle was cut from silver mirror paper and also popped up on bits of foam. To finish off I added a few enamel dots.

A sentiment from Get Well Wishes was stamped on the inside with Wild Cherry dye ink.
